Overview
Bariatric surgery abroad gives patients access to experienced surgical teams and accredited facilities, often at lower cost than in Western Europe or North America and with shorter waiting times.
Our partner network includes specialist bariatric centres with multidisciplinary teams covering surgery, nutrition, anaesthesia, and psychological support. Pre-operative assessment criteria are clearly communicated, and post-operative follow-up protocols are established prior to travel.
Suitability for bariatric surgery is determined exclusively by the treating surgical team at the partner facility following a full clinical assessment. We do not provide medical advice — all surgical decisions are made by qualified bariatric surgeons at partner facilities.
Procedures Available Through Our Network

Gastric Sleeve (Sleeve Gastrectomy)
Approximately 80% of the stomach is surgically removed, leaving a narrow tube or 'sleeve'. Reduces stomach capacity significantly and affects hunger-regulating hormones. One of the most commonly performed bariatric procedures.

Gastric Bypass (Roux-en-Y)
Creates a small stomach pouch and reroutes the small intestine to connect directly to it, bypassing most of the stomach and the upper small intestine. Produces both restrictive and malabsorptive effects.

Gastric Band
An adjustable silicone band is placed around the upper stomach to create a small pouch and slow the passage of food. A reversible and adjustable procedure.

Mini Gastric Bypass
A simpler variation of the standard gastric bypass with a single anastomosis (connection) rather than two. Operating time is typically shorter than the standard Roux-en-Y bypass. Clinical suitability is assessed on an individual basis.
Gastric Balloon
A non-surgical, temporary procedure where a silicone balloon is placed in the stomach via endoscopy and filled with saline to reduce stomach capacity. Typically in place for 6 months and used as a bridge to further intervention or as a standalone option for lower BMI patients.
