A Founder's Note: Why I Am Building Aurevon Health

Every company begins with a question someone cannot stop asking. Mine was simple, and it would not leave me alone: why should something as important as healthcare be so hard to navigate calmly? Today I want to share the story behind Aurevon Health, because I believe you deserve to know who is standing behind a company before you trust it with something as precious as your health.

A Frustration That Would Not Go Away

I have spent a long time around the world of medical travel, and what I kept seeing troubled me deeply. Ordinary people, often anxious and always hopeful, trying to make one of the biggest decisions of their lives with almost no honest information. Prices that hid as much as they revealed. Brochures full of promises and short on proof. Facilitators who disappeared the moment a payment cleared. The more I looked, the clearer it became that the industry was not built around the patient at all. It was built around the sale.

That frustrated me because I could see the other side too. I have met brilliant surgeons and dedicated clinical teams across Europe who genuinely care about their patients and their outcomes. The problem was never the medicine. The problem was everything around the medicine: the opacity, the pressure, the absence of anyone whose only job was to look after the interests of the person travelling.

So I decided to build the company I would want in the room if someone I loved were considering treatment abroad. A company that does not sell, that does not pressure, and that treats a question as an invitation rather than an interruption.

What Patients Actually Deserve

I believe patients deserve a handful of non negotiable things. Clear, complete information about the clinics and specialists available to them, including accreditation you can verify yourself. Honest guidance about costs, including the costs nobody likes to mention: flights, accommodation, recovery time and the unexpected. The freedom to change your mind, at any point, for any reason. And a single standard of treatment whether you are a millionaire or counting every euro.

Most of all, patients deserve honesty about what a concierge service is and what it is not. Aurevon Health is an intermediary. We connect patients with licensed, accredited healthcare providers across Europe. We do not practise medicine, we do not give clinical advice, and we never pretend otherwise. The clinicians make the clinical decisions. Our job is to make sure you arrive at the right door, prepared, informed and treated with respect.

Some people told me that being this transparent would be commercially naive. I believe the opposite. I believe trust is the entire product, and everything we do is built to earn it before we ask for anything.

The Standard I Am Setting

As I build this company, I am setting standards for how we will operate, and I intend to be judged against them publicly. We will only work with facilities we would be comfortable sending our own families to. We will tell you what we know, what we do not know, and what you should verify independently. We will never chase you, never pressure you, and never treat your hesitation as an objection to be overcome. If we believe treatment abroad is not the right choice for you, we will say so.

I also want our content to meet the same standard. Everything we publish should leave you better informed than a brochure would, including the articles you read on this site. If we ever fall short of that, I want to hear about it, because a company that is afraid of feedback from its own readers is a company that has already lost its way.

An Invitation to Hold Me to It

So here is my invitation to you. Whether you are actively considering treatment abroad or simply curious, ask us anything. Use the chat on our website. Test us with difficult questions. Watch how we respond, and judge us by it. There is no obligation and no pressure, and there never will be.

Healthcare decisions deserve patience, honesty and calm. That is what I want Aurevon Health to stand for, and that is what I intend to deliver, one patient conversation at a time. I look forward to earning your trust.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Aurevon Health exactly?

Aurevon Health is a medical tourism concierge and intermediary headquartered in Malta. We connect patients with licensed, accredited healthcare providers across Europe. We are not a healthcare provider ourselves: we do not diagnose, treat or give clinical advice, and all medical decisions rest with the qualified clinicians at the facilities you choose.

Does Aurevon Health charge patients for its help?

Patients can access our guidance, information and website resources without pressure or obligation. Our role is to help you understand your options and connect you with accredited providers. Any costs associated with your treatment itself are set by the clinic and confirmed to you directly, in writing, before you commit to anything.

Which countries does Aurevon Health work with?

We focus on eight European markets: Turkey, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Sweden and Malta. Each destination has its own strengths, from dental care to orthopaedics, and our role is to help you understand which market suits your needs, budget and travel preferences best.

Why should I trust a medical tourism intermediary at all?

Trust should be earned, never assumed. Ask any intermediary exactly how they select their clinics, what accreditation they require, how they are paid, and what happens if something goes wrong. If the answers are vague or evasive, walk away. A trustworthy intermediary welcomes these questions and answers them plainly, every single time.

Can I talk to Aurevon Health before I have decided anything?

Yes, absolutely, and I encourage it. Use the chat on our website to tell us your situation, your questions and your worries. We will listen, share what we know honestly and point you towards verified information, with no obligation and no pressure to commit to anything at all.

The information provided in this article is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Aurevon Health is a medical tourism concierge service and is not a medical provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or recommend specific medical procedures or treatments for individuals. Always consult a qualified medical professional before making any decisions about your health or healthcare. Individual outcomes vary and cannot be guaranteed.
